How is the project operated?
We are three collaborating artists working in drastically different media and audience, The project is neither for-profit or not-for-profit; we try our best to get by however we can.

How long has it been in existence?
We have been open since November 2010.

What was your motivation?
Creation/maintenance of much-needed artistic space in Albuquerque.

Number of organizers/responsible persons of the project.
Three: Scott Williams, Raven Chacon, and Lucas Hussack.

How are programs funded?
By the skin of our teeth, as well as concerts and some meager donations.

Who is responsible for the programming?
The three partners. We each bring things forward and all choices to go forward with projects are unanimous decisions. We have a loose structure for what we are looking for in terms of quality and timing but try as best we can to remain completely open to content.

Number and average duration of exhibitions/events per year.
This is variable. In 2011, we hosted five art exhibitions, and around 30 performances. This year we are poised to have an exhibition every month and even more performances.

What kind of events are usually organized?
At the core, we are an art exhibition space so most things revolve around that. We also cater to avant-garde music, sound art, and performance.

How is your programming determined?
Time, money, artist quality, etc., etc., etc ….

Do you accept proposals/submissions?
Yes. We ask any artist who is interested in working with us in any capacity to start by sending us some examples of their work and a brief proposal for what they have in mind for the space.

What is your artistic/curatorial approach?
Somewhere in between student and established professional. We are trying to fill a void in the necessary space for exhibition of all media of art.

What’s working? What’s not working?
These lists are both massive. Everything works as long as we keep charging on.

What kind of role do you hope to play in your local art scene or community?
See question before last.

What ideas are you most excited about for the future?
All of them. I am excited about the development of ideas in general, watching them change and come to completion, and watching them be unabashedly left behind when new and better ones spring up.

We have five more shows this year, minimum – to watch that much artwork be made, installed, and interacted with is unbelievably exciting, inspiring, and humbling.
