Over nine people came to the opening of “We,” Free Paarking’s exhibition of work by Chicago-based artist Sam Lipp. In fact, exactly ten people showed up—a higher-than-expected turnout for an opening that was held from 4:00 to 7:45 a.m.

Unstable States, New Constitutions
Over the course of 2017, we will pursue parallel narratives under the framework Unstable States, New Constitutions in our first long term feature. Through this itinerary we aim to study our increasingly global instability as a method of learning and unlearning the present and gather the constellations and speculative forms rising from this constant state of crisis. We ask: Can this unprecedented moment of dissolution also be an opportunity for rearticulation and rearrangement?
